The series is set in a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals live side by side, specifically focusing on the life of washed-up former sitcom star Bojack Horseman (Will Arnett) as he plans his big return to celebrity relevance with a tell-all biography that he dictates to his ghost-writer Diane (Allison Brie). Bojack also has to contend with the demands of his on-and-off girlfriend slash agent Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), his slacker roommate Todd (Aaron Paul), and his oblivious former sitcom rival Mr. Peanut-Butter (Paul F. Tompkins).
Anyone check the show out yet? i watched it over the weekend. Its pretty funny. Reminds me a lot of ugly americans or other shows like it. Not laughs through each episode but has some good funny moments and id recommend to anyone that likes animated TV shows.
Whatd you think of it if youve seen it?

I saw a commercial for it today. Ima check it out, looks funny.

Watched the first ep. Wasn't that funny though. Not one of those shows that pull you in like a Rick & Morty or something along those lines.
-
Watched the first few episodes
solid show
Not as good as Rick and Morty but it's funny enough that i'm going to finish the season -
Watched the first episode. I thought it was funnier than the first episode of Rick of Morty. I never went back to that show, but i'll check out the second episode of this.
The whole animals mixing with humans thing is weird to me though. I don't see why they couldn't all be humans or all be animals? -
Been renewed for a 2nd season already.

watched all 12 eps on a netflix binge.
this show is genius. Funny as ? but also deals with serious issues albeit in a very non serious way.
Cant wait for the new series to drop -
@bdbdbd, did it pick up after the first ep or did you find that one funny too?
-
I like how this show has an overall story for the Season.
Other animated comedies will just be a random episode most times, but this show builds on the story each episode. I love them cussing in this show too lol. -

it gets a lot better ? it follows a story line. i can see how the first one may throw someone of. i mean i was skeptical after the first ep, and i only continued watching ? i had nothing else to do. But im glad i stuck with it

lol the cussing is jokes, plus i love how they link back to older episodes to, whether it be a quote or a piece of clothing. The show is actually kind of genius -
Mr. Peanut Butter cracks me the ? up. He's so nice its ? hilarious lol.
-
Didn't really laugh, but i ? with shows like this and ugly americans(which they shouldn't have canceled)
-
May have to give this a chance. Looks like I threw in the towel too soon.
-
I'm on episode 6 and I like it. Aaron Paul character is pretty funny.
But damn how many characters is Patton Oswalt gonna voice? Lol -
Just finished season one yesterday, it wrapped up well. I definitely be on the lookout for season two. Oh yea they had a OITNB reference in an episode that was dope cross promotion.
-
I liked it. Mr Peanut Butter funny as hell.
-
i watched the whole season but paid attention to like the first 5 eps..
its not bad.. -
Finally watched the trailer, looks interesting imma check it out...
-
I can appreciate the satire, but its not funny. I watched 2 episodes and might have laughed twice.
-
Just watched the whole season of and I have to admit I'm mad I slept on this show for so long. A lot of dark comedy, dry humor and jokes that can go over your head.

This show grew on me after while. Like others have said, I like how it runs like a series and not a grouping of episodes that have nothing to do with one another.
-
They got a Christmas special on there, it alright.
-
Didnt care for the christmas special too much.
-
Solid show
Nowhere near Archer, South Park or Rick and Morty but it's still entertaining
I put it on the same level as like Bob's Burgers -
Finished the whole season and the Christmas special. I always liked it, but by the end of it all it becomes a pretty amazing show. BoJack, Mr. Peanut Butter, Princess Carolyn Sarah Lynn, etc etc. So may great characters. That episode were Bojack, Sarah Lynn and Todd got ? up and was trying to rewrite BoJack's book...mayne! GOAT episode. And I liked the Christmas special because anything having to do with Horsin' Around is hilarious to me lol. It was perfect.
