Dana Dane bit Slick Rick's style and had moderate success. Until Slick Rick came out and dropped The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. Then everybody forgot about Dana Dane.
Bottom line is that Slick Rick is really from England so that's why he had the English accent. Dana Dane was just a biter. -

First song I heard from Guerilla Black was Compton. I wanna hear the Mystikal sounding joints you're talkin about
