Jeff HardySomehow CM Punk was cut off as an option but he is in the race officially. I guess you'd just have to write him in.
-
Jeff HardyGotta go with Jeff, edge was the main guy on smack down but prolly no higher third or fourth in line overall punk was a distant second to cena, I think hardy and rey mysterio were closer to being "the guy" than those two, they even would sometimes get faint boos in the background like cena(obviously his are louder but yeah)
-
Jeff HardyJeff's pops were immense. If he had stayed he would have rivaled Cena in reactions.
I guess it's a little unfair considering we basically watched Jeff grow up on WWF TV. Dude was like 17 when he started.
-
Jeff HardyCm punk longest reigning champ of our era. better matches and promos.
Plus the feud with jeff puts him over hardy.
But out of the two options jeff edge is so damn overrated. -
Jeff Hardyedge was the triple h of the ruthless aggression era. he wasn't the guy, but the guy who faced the guy. he was the main heel the top babyface needed to square off against. from his tag team days to his main event days that was his role and he was great at it
cm punk was never as popular as Jeff Hardy. go back and look at the wwe in 08-09. if the crowd wasn't wearing cena shirts and headbands they were wearing hardy face paint and arm sleeves. his pops were the loudest of the night
and it seemed like he never got a legit shot to prove himself as world champion. 3 reigns that lasted a total of 2 months -
Jeff HardyJeff was on his way to being Cenas equivalent or as close as you could b4 he left. Even if CM Punk was in this poll, even as a ? smark, Id still vote Jeff Hardy.
-
Jeff HardyI agree with hardy not being given the best chance, I'm sure he was great for business back then
-
Jeff Hardyif c.m. punk didn't leave the way he did (even though he had a valid point) i would have voted for him..but give hardy credit he had a drive that can't be matched by very few.the powers to be held back hardy for as long as they could but he overcame the odds (much like c.m. punk)
-
Jeff HardyWhere is Matt hardy
-
? got 3 pictures and 2 options
-
alot of revisionist thinking in here though
-
From a business standpoint, I'd say CM Punk because of his sales being the only close to Cena's
From a fans point of view, Jeff was always more popular because of his style (pause lol)
Edge was definitely good. Not fresh into retirement hall of fame entry good, but he has a lot of classic moments that can be considered as well as Jeff and Punk. -
Jeff HardyHardys sales were definitely up there too, and as I mentioned rey mysterio had to be up there as well
-
Jeff Hardyalot of revisionist thinking in here though
So you're saying CM Punk was a bigger star in 2012 than Jeff Hardy in 2009? -
