-

This biopic trend is actually pretty dope
there have been some solid films coming out
-
If they aint showing the ? cuttin' babies heads off (which they WON'T) ? aint legit.
-
So, they're taking the name from this movie:

...as the title for a Nat Turner movie?
The shenanigans continue.

imho a direct adaptation of Kyle Baker's graphic novel would be the best way to go, the way Kyle did it was brilliant, he actually makes you understand why someone would go out of their way to ? babies.
-
Him or his people supposedly killing babies as a point of "fear" is hilarious considering the people whose babies they killed... killed ? babies.
I might have to see this solo. -
I'm there. Will be Fandangoing my ? on Friday morning.
-
Im watchin this ? . And ? all those self righteous muthafuckas on ign and other sights in the comment sections shittin on the movie. This ? is what needs to dropped yearly to remind their ? of the history of this country. One fist up
-
I heard this movies is gory as hell
-
I'm going to see this ? more than once.
Double ? YOU to all the black people who not supporting and a single ? YOU to all the white people crying about it and having fake outrage over a not guilty verdict. -
Will be watching this weekend
I usually pay for a movie then watch a bunch of others for free
But with this Magnificent 7 and lupitas film i might have to pay for more than one -
Goat, cant wait.
-
Definitely going to see it and trying to get more brothas out to go see it. The fact that u got more ? hype about Halloween Madea speaks volumes on where we are as a people. Hope Nate knock this ? out the park

Surprised they put a trailer out, but glad they did. This needs to get the same exposure as those white saviour slave movies where blacks are weak and subservient. We need more movies where we're represented as strong and able to handle things ourselves. That's why we need more black casted Egyptian and African based movies.

which slave movies are there where black people are subservient and weak ?
and there are alot of African based movies , you guys just don't support them.
moreover why are african americans obsessed with Eygpt when you are descendants from West African and Bantu Tribes ? -
Ahhh on the fence about this. I wanna see it but it's being distributed by Fox. ? Aye man.
But I will say that this brotha caught unnecessary (and oddly great timing) flack for that ? ? during the promotional run for this film. The media knew what they were doing digging that story up. That alone warrants my support since if this ? wasn't trill they wouldn't have tried throwing him under the bus. -

Which slave movies can you name where slaves actually fight back without the help of a white savior? Usually they just run they ? off and hope to not get caught.
And to your point about Egypt, I'm speaking in terms of people of color period. And these African movies you speak of get no shine, which was also my point. -
