Bad news for those of you who wanted Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt to play Nathan Drake in Sony's long-gestating movie version of Uncharted.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Star-Lord actor was offered the lead role of fortune hunter Nathan Drake but passed. Mark Wahlberg, who had been attached to star when David O. Russell was directing, is also said to have "moved on."
THR says Uncharted can't move ahead with out a leading man in place, but they report that Sony has nevertheless tapped Oscar winner Mark Boal (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker) to pen the script. Boal is said to be a fan of the video game.
Seth Gordon (King of Kong, Horrible Bosses) is attached to direct Uncharted for producers Avi Arad, Ari Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner.

That's big that they got that screen writer and he actually played the game so hopefully he doesn't change too much. As long as they get a good actor I don't care who they get
