The reason why marriage is failing to me is because of the modern day woman. You can't have a marriage, be a mother, and career woman at the same time imo. Something has to be put to the back burner and it's generally the marriage from my experience.

Had this argument with a homegirl a while ago. She was cringing at the idea of being "submissive" to a man. I'm like as a woman you gotta know ur place, just like a man has to know his place. Submissive don't mean you just lay down but it means you let the man be the man.
Alotta women today got a problem with that, and it's detrimental. -

Naw brah. Traditionally most women stayed home and took care of the kids. What the hell you taking about plenty of centuries. It wasn't until the feminist movement of the 60's and70's that the dynamics started changing. Coincidentally that's when the divorce rate started going up.
I don't even know why you're comparing men's role to women. Men generally don't take care of the kids like that, we do financially but not emotionally and physically like women. Mens role is provide and protect. -
