yall trippin if u say KRS wasnt nice back in the day and his subject matter was on sum Black Excellence ?
he influenced alot of yall favorite rappers whether it be NWA sampling his records to even Goodie Mobb & Bun B
giving him props in interviews.. It was a time in the 80's early 90's when he was respected as one of the best emcees
out there so if you didnt come up in that era or have older heads to put you on his music u prolly not gone respect it, so its understandable..

Yall really cant ? on KRS legacy and meaning for hip hop man. This man lives and breaths the culture 24/7. Hes travelling all over the world giving speeches and ? , he wrote a damn rap gospel. Till this day he writes a sixteen for the top ten rappers in the charts "just in case" to be ready lol ? crazy you gotta really love this hip hop thing for the dedication he has. I know he gets preachy at times but as I said I got nothing but respect for him
Even if you could argue that KRS One lost to Nelly so what he still a legend.
We as rap fans need to stop ? on the OGs in general, no other musical genre does that. You got the Rolling Stones etc. selling out damn world tours and rap stars from the 70s and 80s are forgotten or get ridiculed by youngins. -
Return of the boom bap has some good stuff not really heard much from him outside of that album.
