My first thought was just because someone has a white wife doesn't mean that he doesn't, or didn't, date black women.

Men (for the most part) don't like seeing the women of their race dating outside of their race especially to black men. So why would a white ran business like Hollywood cast black men to date white women? But on the flip side we see black women all over movies and tv with white husbands/boyfriends.

I mean, what if these dudes were brought up around predominately white people? I don't think their dating preference has anything to do with their ability to portray a character in a film

Whats happens is you're ued to seeing a brotha w/ a white/ethnic chick so it doesnt grab you like seein a sista w/ a white dude. You remember that ? .
Look at Flavor of Love and for the love of ray j. You will NEVER see a dating show like that w/ a black woman and nothin but white dudes.
Look at all the basketball wives shows. Nothin but black dudes w/ white/spanish women.

As far as the topic, we aint in a position to nitpick. Black men and women in prominent roles is a good thing regardless of who they date. Dumb thread premise.
