For me its seeing a hated rival team win. I cant stand to see Kentucky win it all this year and I'm pretty accepting of UofL losing just as long as we can make to at least a Sweet 16.

If my most hated team wins a big game then it is also possible that my team lost a significant game prior to it. Seems like this option would include the other option at times.

If a team you hate wins you'll only care initially but since there is no investment like your favorite team you won't care after a day.

If your team loses, you gonna carry that weight

That image of Cam running around Bryant-Denny with his hand over his mouth still burns my soul slow

Why someone would care more about another team rather than their own is beyond me...

I'm more invested in my team success and failures than I am with the rival team

The worst was 2008 when they both happened at the same time when we lost to the Celtics.

Blood boiling just thinking about it.

If your rival wins and you're around those fans you'll be carrying that weight too. Try being a UNC fan in a family with Duke fans after they win a championship. Gonna need to invest in shares of Charmin to wipe up all the ? you have to put up with.

Try being around the abhorrent fan base of drunken rednecks ever after their team wins. The Packers.

    This.

Living in Kentucky is a ? nightmare when UK is on a winning streak. Especially considering the frustrating season UofL is having.

Maybe for a lotta you guys who dont live in states with such a hated rivalry its hard to understand, but every year UK and UofL are essentially in an unofficial race and the goal isnt so much to win but to finish better than each other. Ain't no love here.

Because when their team is irrelevant, they need something to invest their energy in

    *looks at redskins fans*

    EVERYBODY hates the cowboys tho

Damn this hit close to home. Watched my boys lose a big one in the FF as Duke who had been up and down all year take home the ship. But as much as I hate DUKE it wouldn't have mattered who went on to win it all if it wasn't UK. Especially this season. Smh

Even if i dislike a team or a particular coach or player, I can still give credit where it's due.
