that doesn't mean he runs new york that mean the power that control the radio airwaves are pushing his music. radio play does not equal running a city. Let him sell out MSG like cole did for next weeks show before you claim he runs new york. ? Jay been selling out Phillips Arena and the Georgia Dome his last few tours does he run atlanta?

Lil ? dont know how the radio works, big labels push watever they feel is catching on then make the radio station play it ovet and over again, because they are to scared to loose money and their grip on the radio

Does any radio station play ny music anymore dont matter the region. Only rapper from tge big apple that do get spins is jay z and thats only because beyonce on the song.

maybe you should deal with the fact radio is not 100% fan driven but controlled by execs and labels. Most rap fans turn to music streaming/iphones to play music not radio stations. Future had to make his concert free in new york to sell it out in a small venue. J Cole from north carolina sold out MSG. That means 18,000 people decided to pay to see him. Lemme know when future can do that as a headliner outside of the A. -

Check the V 103.3 or Hot 107.9 playlist in Atlanta. They don't play as much Future and Feddy Whop as NY stations. Just wait until RHQ Flex makes it up top -

the funny thing is people try to say new school rapper x from atlanta is running another market. The ironic thing is outside the A atlanta rappers cant sell out large scale venues outside Outkast and maybe tip and jeezy. All these new school atlanta rappers are regional or bound to club concerts.
But when you look at the kendricks or coles or even nikki minaj from new york they go on sold out arena tours. Same thing with Drake who is from Toronto he can sell out phillips arena any tour but let future/? hoe-mie quan or yung thug try to sell out the united center in chiraq or madison square garden in nyc. there will be open seats for days unless its a free show. -
