They can have it. Well just find a new form of expression to exclude them from, as has been the case throughout our short history here in America. -
TO ? A Butterfly is one of the most important albums made in a long ass time. Musically its dope, but what it means to this generation is priceless...

I think Kendrick is grossly overhyped and I've said that many times in the reason. I get negative reactions but no one in the Reason has been willing to debate me on the topic.
I think that lyrically he is not in the same league as a J. Cole and not really close. The best thing I ever heard from Kendrick Lamar was that Buried Alive track in Take Care. That's the best verse I've ever heard from K Dot -

This the story of what happened for those who dont know...

"Today after the ending of the convening as everyone was walking down the street CPD arrested a 14 yr old. While everyone was demanding his release an officer pepper sprayed the crowd and further escalated the situation. In unity and solidarity everyone was demanding that he be released, and we stayed and protested until they released him!" -

If all we have as black people is, "better not treat us unfairly or we'll stand in the street and recite rap lyrics;"

Cole was more lyical in his mixtape days. Im a big cole fan but he be coming with the corniest lines in recent releases.
Kendrick more lyrical than cole
Krit more lyical than cole
Kendrick, Krit, & Cole are 3 of my favorite from the younger rappers -
