New Line Cinema is reportedly look to reboot horror franchise A Nightmare on Elm Street ... again.
"Plans are to scrap the lackluster 2010 reboot and start with a fresh new take," according to The Tracking Board. "There’s no producer on board yet, but Orphan scribe David Leslie Johnson has been tapped to script. Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, and Dave Neustadter will oversee for New Line."
Johnson was also announced this week as scripting Warner Bros.' new Dungeons & Dragons movie. His other screenwriting credits include Wrath of the Titans and the forthcoming sequel to The Conjuring.

The Elm Street franchise began in 1984 with director Wes Craven's classic, spawning another seven films until the series was rebooted in 2010 by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes with Jackie Earle Haley as slasher icon Freddy Krueger. The film earned $115.7 million at the worldwide box office.

maybe, he said that if they would have asked he wouldve returned for the remake....even tho hes 68 he still a young 68 he doesnt look it at all -

He wears make up so it does not matter and Arnold is still the Terminator through CGI
Anyway the original NMoES is the greatest horror movie IMO -

Dream warriors was pretty good movie in the franchise

The problem here is that you can't recapture what made the first NoES good. They couldn't even recapture it in the sequels, they why the series basically became a parody of itself.
