"19 yrs ago today a couple 21 yr olds from Atlanta, GA raised the bar on RAP music n dropped one of the most groundbreaking n flat out dopest sophomore RAP albums in RAP history. You can also remove the word RAP from that last sentence n the statement still applies cuz what these cats did transcended beyond all the set parameters n so called rules of hip hop n upped the ante on MUSIC period. How many of yall favorite ? groups these days can say the same b? Them Rae Sremmmurdsh fuckboys bout the same age that 3 Stacks n Big Boi was on this album... You think they capable of changin music history forever on the next weed plate they drop? FOH... Dont answer that wit one of yall revisionist ass sympathetic to ? lies neither. I mean yall can do that ? in ya head if you wanna but jus dont contaminate my ? wit it. Ya main lame Jermaine Cole is 30 yrs old n rappin bout fondlin hisself in bed late at night n losin his virginity over his own stale production n here we got a couple barely old enough to drink legally southern dope boys in a Cadillac fusing soul n gospel n funk n spoken word poetry n extraterrestrial sci fi ? together n speakin on issues like racial stereotypes, parenthood, sobriety, vegetarianism, religion, promiscuity, classism, sexual taboos, the pitfalls of hustlin n being blinded by material desires, n gettin stepped to by sucka MCs while they stand there patiently waitin for em to finish stumblin over cliches so they can hit em over the head wit profound jewelz over some of the flyest production of 1996 n beyond (mostly provided by Organized Noize). Yo speakin of fuckboys..Im so disgusted that we live in a time where a known ? like Tyga aka Grandmaster Trash can emerge from a lagoon of fiery ? n go find a studio to record a whole discography of repeat sex offender anthems at n make a decent living off this rap ? despite not knowin how to rap or make ungarbage music in any shape or form.. Even bagged him a preadolescent Kardashian n waited til she was old enough to drive to make it official n secure some extra pocket change... Smh. But anyways yea I really love this album yo.
