"Rapper Nas is a glorified East Coast artist. He has created some of the most iconic songs for the urban scene of New York. Now, ESPN taps him to be the voice of the 2015 US Open in Brooklyn.
Not sure how Nas fits into the culture and feel of the US Open, but he is definitely one of the most unique voices and personalities in New York.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he knew the top stars of the tennis world as the sport is gaining in popularity. But clearly, it is not at the point where it is becoming a staple in sports conversations.
Although, with a talent like Nas, ESPN is apparently pushing to promote the cool aspect of tennis."
His new narrated US Open commercial titled "We Play". Very dope.

She already has, even if she dont win this. She possible doing something more incredible than bron and mayweather. She is amazing, especially given her age.
But I think ? with drake may hurt her.

Now this Nas spot. When these dudes were out, they only got play on Yo! MTV Raps and Rap City. Now Nas is selling soda and doing voice overs for an elitist lily white sport that very few black people will ever get the chance to play. Rex is ? old. -

Nas could stop recording and never release another album for the rest of his life and his legacy would still be set in stone.
Think about it, 100 years from now people will still be bumping Nas's albums and trying to decipher his lyrics. -
Respect... Plain and simple
