gobbert getting no damn defensive player of the year award. he just started getting minutes after the trading deadline. he still has a lot to learn and has to show he can be consistent and healthy for a full season

He was averaging 35+ mins a game and 4 bpg after the all star break.Jazz had the best opponents fg%,ppg,blocks,rebounds and every other defensive stat there is when gobert was put in the starting line up -

I understand that but that's still a small sample size. how is he gonna adjust more scouting, how is he gonna adjust to starting a full 82 game season.
he's still young and raw and he may fade towards the middle of the season -
my bold prediction is that the clippers got paul pierce one year too late and his signing wont have much of an impact.

Small sample size?!? He started 37 games last year that's damn near half the season.He impacted the team tremendously in that small sample size.You can scout all day we're talking defense scouting won't change how duke alters shots and rebounds.
