If you're not livin', you might as well be dead.

"So I'm ugly, I never saw anyone get a base hit with their face" (Berra after getting berated by an umpire because he was ugly)
Was a veteran of WWII, an ambassador of baseball for basically 70 years, and an ambassador of humanitarianism all his life. Someone once said he treated his garbageman better than he did the POTUS. Should've made more like him. -
Wow 18 time all star in 19 season 10 time champ plus a vet ww2 salute and rip yogi

Jackie Robinson stealing home on Yogi in Game 1 of the 1955 World Series. Yogi always swore he was out and damn he was ? lmao.

He even gave Obama a framed photo of the play:
"a gift for Obama from baseball legend Yogi Berra: a photo of the Brooklyn Dodgers’ Jackie Robinson coming in safe after stealing home during a 1955 World Series game against Berra and the Yankees. Berra wrote “Dear Mr. President, He was out!” and signed his name in blue pen." -

I'd say he was out, but tie goes to the runner.
He wasn't "safe" but it could have been a tie. -

LOL "tie goes to the runner" is a myth constantly perpetuated and repeated in Little League. No such rule actually exists. -
RIP Yogi
and Jack seemed to be out -
It's insane that Yogi had more World Series rings than every single team besides obviously the Yankees and the Cardinals.
