187 He Wrote is the second studio album by American rapper Spice 1, released September 28, 1993 on Jive Records. It peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The album was produced by Ant Banks, E-A-Ski & CMT, Johnny Z, MC Eiht, Mentally Blunted, Prodeje, Too Short and Xtra Large. It features guest performances by MC Eiht, E-40, Havikk & Prodeje, Boss and Ant Banks.

Along with singles, music videos were produced for two songs: "Dumpin' 'em in Ditches" and "The Murda Show" featuring MC Eiht.

The song, "Trigga Gots No Heart", was originally heard in the film, Menace II Society, and was also released as a single and music video to promote the film's soundtrack.

The album is regarded by many fans and critics as one of the most influential gangsta rap albums of all time, and one of the greatest west coast albums ever made. Rapper Tupac Shakur, a friend of Spice 1 called it, "the most hardest album ever recorded".
