The Django Unchained director marched with protestors and spoke out against the killing of unarmed Black people by police during the #RiseUpOctober rally, organized by Carl Dix of the Revolutionary Communist Party and author Dr. Cornel West. Also referred to as the "Say Their Name" rally, protestors spoke the names of the many victims of police brutality. Tarantino certainly didn't take a back seat at the event, even addressing the crowd from the podium.
“A 12-year-old black male child,” Tarantino said, as the crowd chanted Tamir Rice. “On November 22, 2014, Tamir was playing with a toy gun in the park. After a 911 call where the person calling said the gun was probably a fake and the person holding it was probably a juvenile, the police rushed on to the scene and shot Tamir within two seconds.”
He continued, "I'm a human being with a conscience. And if you believe there's murder going on then you need to rise up and stand up against it. I'm here to say I'm on the side of the murdered."
Meanwhile, the NYPD is having none of it. The head of the police union has called for a boycott of Tarantino's films, saying that the director's participation in an "anti-police" protest just four days after a cop was murdered is plain wrong. "It’s no surprise that someone who makes a living glorifying crime and violence is a cop-hater, too," Patrick Lynch, president of the Patrolman's Benevolent Association, said Sunday in response to Tarantino. "The police officers that Quentin Tarantino calls ‘murderers’ aren’t living in one of his depraved big-screen fantasies — they’re risking and sometimes sacrificing their lives to protect communities from real crime and mayhem."

Them dudes stay doing to much. They're not even trying. They never, ever show a bit of compassion for the deceased but everyone is supposed have bleeding hearts when a cop goes gets taken out. Perhaps if, these heartless swine began showing compassion for civilians killed, it would be reciprocated.
Cops living with this us vs. them mentality is not a solution. -

People complaining about writing ? into dialouge is dumb to me. That whole Django outrage was stupid too.
BUT... His character in Pulp Fiction throwing ? around for no apparent reason always confused me. Plus you dind out his wife is black in the movie too -
I will make sure i go see hateful eight twice.
If its a good movie.
Will watch all tarantino flicks available on netflix to help ratings. -

Police refusing to do their jobs bc the public doest like them killing citizens w/o accountability

Even with insurmountable evidence and solid proof of police murder, assaults, unwarranted arrest and ties to the kkk and racist text cops and faux news still perpetuate the lie that all cops are great and BLM are dealing in falsehoods

These are diversion tactics. Where is the federal trial for Eric Garner's killer? Still no indictment for Tamir Rice or John Crawfords killers. Idgaf what the pig union says but where are the state and federal indictments? Everybody screamed and yelled for Loretta Lynch to get the job. Now she has it and has yet to do anything with it.

Why? it's a movie, and QT has always employs large numbers of Black actors, and made powerful roles for them. I mean what would S. Jackson's character in Pulp Fiction be life if he was censored? or Jackie brown, or Django? -
