Police: Shooting Near 4th Precinct Leaves 5 Hospitalized
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Five protesters are hospitalized after a shooting at the 4th Precinct Monday night, according to police.
Witnesses at the scene say the shooters were white supremacists, and were hanging around the rally before others asked them to leave. The witnesses said the men came back a short time later and fired six shots at protesters just north of the precinct, on the 1400 block of Morgan Avenue North.
All five victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at North Memorial Medical Center. Police say the three suspects are still at large.
A crowd gathered at the scene after the shooting, and emotions were running high.
Protesters have been outside the 4th Precinct for nine days, ever since 24-year-old Jamar Clark was shot and killed by police after a scuffle last Sunday. Witnesses say Clark was handcuffed when an officer shot him in the head. Police dispute that claim, saying Clark was trying to grab an officer’s firearm, and that they were justified in using deadly force.
The group Black Lives Matter has called on city leaders to release video footage captured of the incident, but authorities say it would harm their investigation into the incident. Protesters are camped outside the 4th Precinct in north Minneapolis, refusing to leave until the footage is made public.

There needs to be a real strong response to this ? cowardly act.. Those crackers needs pay in real ass way...

The law is the lawMinnesota's Personal Protection Act is a permit to carry law, not a conceal and carry law. The pistol does not need to be concealed, but can be concealed. -

The police weren't even trying to hide it....they uncorked that vintage racism that ol'grandpappy bottled and distilled circa 1950, usually only preserved for special occasions.

6 shots 5 people hit their aim is on point.
Watched that video posted with the 2 young dudes talking. Somebody older should have snatched them up and let them know now is not the time for talking and got them away from whoever was recording them. Why not record the police non-reaction to the black people getting shot.
People really need to understand there is nothing wrong with not giving an interview. Shutting the ? up can be a great thing a lot of times. Learn from the people who ? us around. Police ? a black person they not on camera giving interviews until the story straight. Even then they don't give interviews actually they release written thought out statements on the incident. They don't take questions after the statement is read. -

I'm willing to bet they were cops that got caught out there - either trying to infiltrate or agents provocateurs but they didn't have any black cops to do it so they stuck out like a sore thumb.
