The RNC accidentally put up its “Mike Pence won the debate” post early
The vice presidential debate between Tim Kaine and Mike Pence hasn’t even started yet, but the Republican National Committee already knows who won — it’s accidentally put up a prewritten post spinning a Pence victory early on GOP.com.
“The consensus was clear after the dust settled, Mike Pence was the clear winner of the debate,” the post says. Here it is, in case it gets taken down (update: it’s down):
We should be charitable in assuming this is placeholder text, though it’s quite poorly written even for that. But we can see here that whoever wrote this anticipates Pence’s best moments will include “Economy” and “Highlighting Hillary’s scandals.”
The author also boldly goes out on a limb by declaring that “the other clear winner from tonight’s debate was Donald Trump.” Indeed, one of the main reasons Pence won this nonexistent debate was because he “perfectly shared Trump’s vision to make America great again.” Sounds like it was quite a contest.

allegedly the Clintons used the same tax loophole just in the past year or so that Trump did in 95.. but dont worry, no one will report that.

Pence was much more polished and likeable.
Kain was pretty rude.

Pence had to defend the platform and incendiary comments from himself and Donald Trump ... for 90 minutes.

I thought Kaine was a bit off an ? and didn't have to be, but he just said ? it, Trump is that bad, it's about time someone ? him up for a while just off GP. -
Yeah their platform is unconscionable. Especially towards minorities.
But he actually sounds like a sane person taking about it.

While not on the scale of Trump's business "operating loss", Hillary Clinton - like many 'wealthy' individuals is taking advantage of a legal scheme to use historical losses to avoid paying current taxes. -

Mike Pence is looking towards running in 2020 he could barely defend any of the stuff Donald Trump has said over the last few 20 months.Its obviously he is trying salvage his political career , his image ,his credibility and position himself for Presidential run.

That's what I was thinking when I watched the debate. He is really in a tough spot:
- If Trump wins, I think he will dump all or most of the presidential duties on Pence but try to take credit for the successes and blame Pence for the failures.
- Up until election day and even after, he has to waffle between throwing Trump under the bus / defending Trump without alienating possible voters for his own possible 2020 run -
Supposedly Hillary Clinton has talked about using a Drone strike to blow up Julian Assange founder of WikiLeak.
