Ren & Stimpy Coming Back To TV?

I recently stumbled across something very interesting while scrolling through Twitter the other day. A tweet from an animation director has confirmed that a Ren & Stimpy related project is in the works!
Before we dive into the hype, take a look at the following tweet from Mike Carlo.
Mike Carlo is known for his work on Adult Swim shows like Superjail! and China, IL. Mr. Carlo’s portfolio proves that he is the perfect choice for a Ren & Stimpy project.
So what exactly does this all mean?
One could only hope that this might be the beginning stages of The Ren & Stimpy Show returning to television.
It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen this outrageous dynamic duo dive into new territory and it would be a fantastic idea to bring these iconic characters back!
While the tweet may not be hinting at the beginnings of Ren & Stimpy’s return to television. This could also be sketches for the early stages of Paramount’s upcoming NickToons film, which is set to feature Ren & Stimpy!
Mr. Carlo could also be doing a side project in honor of these two characters, but we hope that this project turns out to be something bigger than that. From this point on only time will tell.

Last revival sucked. There was ? humor in the original yes but making Stimpy so blatantly ? was pretty off putting.

I remembering liking it as a young kid.
But as i got older and looking back it was dumb as hell. Just toilet humor.
I dont recall the ? humor tho.
But some of yall came up on Spongbob and that is the gayest cartoon i ever saw -
Idr ren & stimpy...just that I liked it.
First 4-5 seasons of spongebob were ? hilarious tho. And not just cuz you were a kid, like that ? still holds up. -

man ren and stimpy was my ? . always peep the ? ? but im a ? up individual so it appealed to me. plus it was so hilarious that ren didnt even need to cuss. now just think if they put this on adult swim and ren curses. this show was and is goat.

That last attempt was the worst ? i ever seen and almost made me hate the brand completely -
the original was one of my favorite nicktoons. and also very influential on some of the cartoons in the 90's that came after it. but the revival that aired on spike almost decimated whatever legacy it had. this doesnt sound like a good idea

Adult Party was beyond horrible...
The original had some funny moments though... like the Happy Happy Joy Joy song... Don't ? on the Electrical Fence and Log commercials... the nature documentary... -
