Never gave this album a listen but will download on Spotify

I entered this thread to say Ceelos first 2 albums...you get an honorary GOAT
Medieval Times is one of my Top 5 favorite tracks
One For the Road, Big Ole Words, When We Were Friends, Glockapella, Scrap Metal, Evening News, this ? is the definition of slept on and overlooked when it comes to rap -
Downloaded this months back but never gave it a listen, will get round to it soon.
-
Its hit and miss for me
Rather listen to Gnarls Barkley -

"Yoooou don't know me, a record can't tell ya, ah oh, I'm the great pretender..."
That's probably my fave song on that album. I will admit, I bypassed his second solo joint. Something about him working with Timbaland felt blasphemous to me especially when he produced ... His Perfect Imperfections in it's entirety. Guess I should give it a listen. -
His first two solos are more and more being recognized now than they were the decade plus they were released. At least be managed to have major success after instead of fading to oblivion like most rappers who drop slept on albums.

I didnt know he handled the production...Soul Machine is just as potent but less eclectic than the first, but SM has a brighter ambiance

Timbo had nothin to do with that album outside of the lead single. Soul Machine is more polished than Perfect Imperfections imo -

I'ma peep it. Perfect Impections' darkness is one of the things that I gravitated to. I ? with that St. Elsewhere LP, it's on my phone currently -

And "The One" with Jazzy Phae and Tip...skippable to me, Ill Be Around was decent (Lo's last verse made up for it) -

Me and my homeboys would bump this album all day long in college on the weekend when we had card party's or cookouts. It's a southern classic and u really don't have to skip a song.
But this ? right here....
"We be six deep creepin'/ In a Deville sittin' up on D's wit da suspension squeakin'/ Got us some P's, burnin' them leaves so we gone smoke this weekend/ I'm wit my G's, if we got beef then we commence to squeezin', bullets commence to skeetin'/ Give my click one reason/ Why we shouldn't slang, ? and ? b/c my pockets leakin'....
Went TOO hard! Their story on that track was/is cold!
