Fan wears LeBron's Heat jersey at Indians game

CLEVELAND - A fan wearing a Miami Heat jersey of LeBron James drew the ire of the crowd at a Cleveland Indians game and was escorted out of the ballpark.

Fans in the left-field bleachers chanted obscenities and pointed at the man Wednesday night during the sixth inning of the Indians' 8-0 loss to the New York Yankees. Hundreds of fans joined in before security led the man out of Progressive Field.

As he left, some fans followed him toward the gate with more derisive chants.

James' recent departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Heat caused a lot of anger in the city.

Many fans were near the left-field foul pole in hopes of catching the 600th home run ball by Alex Rodriguez.

Saw this article and thought I'd ask..

What stadium would you be scared to rock your favorite teams jersey to or atleast felt you'll get the most boo's? (Has it happened already?) And where would you most want to wear your favorite team jersey to represent? Which jersey(s) and which stadium(s)?

Me.. I'd love it if I could wear my 49ers jersey to Cowboys stadium if.... (when?) we go to the Super Bowl this season.. haha

(Side Note: LOL @ Google finishing my photo lookup of Lebron James with the first response being "Lebron James Mom Delonte West".. )

The only places that i might be a lil 'noid wearing my raider jersey to is denver or maybe kc. Their fans definetely get the business in oakland when they try to wear them ugly jerseys in oakland. I go to sd every year when we play them and i stay raider'ed up. Got into a couple of tussles, but its still raiders. I had them hot in sacramento when i went out there in 2002 laker'ed tha fucc up. And we won that game so i heard the boos all night. But, i ride for my teams though, and anyone that has an issue would just have to get down where their mad at

A guy walked into the bleacher seats wearing a LeBron James Miami Heat Jersey. He was booed violently, and by the fifth Inning, people were throwing peanuts and beer cups at him.

That’s when police escorted him out of the section. While walking down the stairs, a guy knocked the beer cup out of his hand, and started swearing at him. By the end of the row, a fat guy in a green shirt (who was previously flicking him off), got up in his face. The police had to restrain him from attacking the Yankees & Indians fans who were booing him.

His girlfriend, who had been flicking people off and swearing was shoved to the ground by a guy in a grey shirt. She started crying, and also had to be restrained.

The police officers who escorted him out, got a standing ovation from the entire bleacher section

i went to a yankee game one time and sat in the bleachers. It was against the twins and some dude was with his girl and they both were wearing twins jerseys. He was talking some ? to the guys around him then everyone started chanting ? and was pointing at his girl. Everyone in the bleachers was doing it might be the funniest thing i witnessed in a game
