Connecticut couple accused of buffet fight over crab legs
A crabby husband and wife were handcuffed Saturday after starting a shellfish showdown at a Connecticut buffet, authorities said.
Clifford Knight, 46, and his wife, Latoya Knight, 38, assaulted a 21-year-old man over crab legs during an 8 p.m. fracas at the Royal Buffet in Manchester.
One of the suspects landed a brutal punch on the victim’s face, dislodging the man's front tooth, WVIT-TV reported.
The victim’s mother whipped out a canister of pepper spray and hosed her son’s assailants with the irritant in self-defense, cops said.
Police arrested the couple, charging Clifford Knight with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. His wife is facing disorderly conduct and threat charges.
The victim’s mother will not face any charges for using pepper spray.

When I was 16 for a month I had a job in a hotel restaurant that had all u can eat seafood buffet Friday's.
Every Friday without fail this lady would come in and damn near every time we brought out a full metal tray of crab legs to place in the buffet slot, she'd run up and try to take ALL the damn crab legs. She'd be sitting at her table with 5 or 6 plates lined up with butter sauce saucers all over the table.
Families with kids would be happy when the crab legs came out but disappointed by the time they got up to get some....I've seen the frustration the seafood buffet game is real. -

Oh ? was just watching this on the news this morning, was like these hungry hungry hippos need to chill.
CONNECTICUT on national tv for something else other than the UCONN women bout to win their 4th national title in a row.
Never been to the royal buffet place, but from past experiences at other local buffets a lot of ignorant hungry impatient people up in there. -
I knew it was crab legs before I even clicked. People are ruthless about them things.

It's a buffet in I think Bush La, it was off the chain. I haven't been in over a decade but it was only open on the weekend. I think because they caught all the seafood themselves.
Every type of seafood. It's over $20 a pop though.

from Costco. Sounds weird but it's good as hell to make wraps with this, scrambled eggs/cheese, with srirachi.
