Getting stuck in traffic is one of the most frustrating parts of travelling around a busy city.

Now engineers in China, the world's most populated country, have come up with a way to overcome the problem of getting around in traffic.

Designs for a new elevated bus has been unveiled at a tech expo in China, which will apparently be able to carry 1,200 passengers over the top of cars and let traffic to pass underneath it.

I was sittin in a long ass line of traffic just yesterday ? that its 2016 and still ain't no flying cars. This ? is a brilliant concession to that (for buses of course).

why wouldn't the train just be on the side of the road? What is the benefit of doing it this way?

China spends money on infrastructure, which is why they have this bus, fast ass trains, etc......

Obama has tried for 6 years to get money to spend on similar ? , but the republicans in congress have blocked him every single time..........

Can you believe the Maglev train is still not here in the US. The proposition was shot down a few years back and now just got it's initial funding. The train could get you from DC to Baltimore in about 15 mins, DC to Philly in about 30 and DC to NYC in about an hour.

That would be crazy. I-95 traffic would decrease immensely, you'd have super metro areas. You could live in MD but work in NYC like it's nothing.

Nothing in DC? Take a 30 min ride to Philly to check it out.

Looks futuristic, don't know whether its effective but its cool as ? .

The rest we can't have nice ? is because it would ? private industry. Imagine if public transportation could take you across the state in mere minutes. The gotdamn technology exists, we see Asians building the fastest trains on the planet but we can't get them in the US because we coddle automotive industries.

It's not even just the auto industry. Corporate interests period are the gatekeepers of our foreign and domestic policy because they're the ones bribing the politicians primarily.

Imagine how humanity would progress if the fossil fuels industry didn't have a choke hold on our energetic progression? ? is so bad that they have the US fighting India's solar revolution with negative trade ramifications.

Absolutely. Capitalism is supposed to spur innovation but we see how successfully it prevents it. Solar powered or electrical cars? Nope. Solar panels on homes? Nope. Wind power? Nope. We can't even TRY this stuff because industry stands in the way.
