I've thought of making a Kareem vs Shaq thread, but how can you argue that Shaq is better?
Kareem has 38,387 all time points
Shaq has 28,569 all time points
When people talk about Shaq they say how he dominated in the paint, but he's scored 10,000 fewer points than Kareem who played the same position.

Because Shaq couldn't hang in the league anymore. People seem to forget how useless he was with the Cavs, Celtics, and Suns.
Shaq was physically imposing and had foot work when he was young but got slow and out of shape as the years went out. Kareem actually stayed in shape at all times, he was known for doing yoga and martial arts -

Kareem played for 20 seasons; 1969/70 - 1988/89
So Kareem played for one extra year and has a total of 10,000 more points.
Whatever reason you can think of, the fact remains that Kareem outscored Shaq. -
People think there were no tall players, it was a bunch of cats 6'9'' and up
