https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDvsNvKOgIIWhile attempting to control protests, Brussels police Chief Commissioner Pierre Vandersmissen was blindsided by a protestor and knocked unconscious.
Tuesday, police were attempting to regain control over the approximately 60,000 demonstrators when a man in a red shirt punched Vandersmissen in the head according to the BBC.
While out front, leading the riot police,Vandersmissen sprayed pepper spray on various groups of protesters demonstrating against government cuts. According to Politico, the protesters did not agree with the abolition of the 38-hour work week and a law that allows politicians to retire at age 55.

I'm always excited when police lose, but from what I can tell their response was measured. If that was the states, someone would have been shot.

I was trying to figure out what police gun policy is in Brussels last night. I couldn't do it. I thought perhaps guns were the origin of the issue. The way this man (pig) was spraying mace seemed indiscriminate and I wonder what would happen if he had a pistol. Then, somehow I ended up watching Hannity and they were discussing protests at Trump riots in Albuquerque with a police sergeant from Milwaukee and his answer to unlawful police protesters was unrestrained violence.
In developed nations, people getting brutally attacked or gunned down by police is endemic to America. We have a violent unfeeling state and psychopathic police culture. There is little or no accountability for these pigs.
Police here are an occupying army and not servants of the community. -
