Frenchy's fried chicken. Started off in 3rd ward in the 70s n now has chains all over the city. Lots of black owned eateries all over Houston, Nikki's soul food n the breakfast klub to name a few..
Rap a lot records still operates here. The were more than a few record labels based here in the 90s and 2000s but we all know what happened to that bubble.. -
