screw music was definitely an acquired taste
i couldnt listen to a whole screw album, but i liked a few songs here and there -

I don't really knock folks music tastes but this was never for me. Never got the appeal of it
Texas is much different from the rest of the South, when everybody else was going going up tempo, bass ? shaking music we slowed it down
It was about the freestyles/flows and Screw doing his thing on those turntables

It's the same here in Jersey for the club music. Once I leave Newark and the surrounding areas it's like what the hell are you listening to. -
@southsil4lil I respect most areas little things that unique to them. I swear if I ever came to Houston or anywhere in Texas that does this ? . I would ? go insane!!!

Honestly I probably havent listened to anything Chopped and Screwed that came out after 2006 and these days I have to be in the mood to hear it
Only DJs I really ? with were Screw, OG Ron C and Beltway 8....some of Watts and Paul Wall's ? was alright -
