A Georgia truck driver was sentenced to 40 years in prison for pouring boiling water over a ? couple, a district attorney’s spokesman said on Thursday.

Martin Blackwell, 48, was convicted by a jury on Wednesday of 10 charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault, said the spokesman for Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr.

Blackwell told police he heated water and poured it over Anthony Gooden Jr. and Marquez Tolbert while they slept because he was disgusted by their relationship.

The attack occurred in February in an apartment in the Atlanta suburb of College Park where Gooden’s mother, who was dating Blackwell, lived.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk sentenced Blackwell to 40 years in prison.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution quoted prosecutors as saying both victims required skin grafts after the attack. Gooden spent nearly a month in a hospital, including two weeks in a medically induced coma, and Tolbert was hospitalized for 10 days, it said.

Tolbert was 21 and Gooden 23 at the time of the attack.

Same ? I said in the original thread. ? had to walk in, see them in the bed, walk out, go the kitchen, get a ? , put water in the ? , turn the stove on, put the ? on and wait however long for the ? to boil, carry the ? in their and dump the ? on them.

If at no point in that entire process you come to your senses like 'Eh, this ? prolly ain't a good idea. I'ma chill.'...you deserve what you get.

I boil water pretty much every morning for tea before work..that ? takes a good little minute to start to come to a boil..this ? sat up there that whole time..waiting..waiting..thinking..to torture some people like that? That's insane. He gonna have to take that 40 on the chin..he'll get out before his golden years are up he'll be aite.

He got four years a person. How is that excessive?

And people have died from boiling water, but that doesn't matter because he was charge with aggravate assault not attempted murder.

Man, I can give a ? less what ppl do in their personal relationships

    If you're straight, cool

    If you're ? , cool

    If you're bisexual, whatever

I'm too caught up in my own ? , then to worry about someone else's sexual orientation

? , was doing too much and is going to suffer from his ignorant actions

    And it's ? Atlanta

? is a hotbed for undercover homosexuals, so that definitely wasn't the first time that dumb ? saw that

Just ignore it and keep moving
