Although De La might be the longest lasting group (3 Feet High and Rising came out in 1989). I haven't checked for them since 50 Cent rapped over the Baby Fat beat, and his version was better imo.

I'll check for it, De La has never put out a wack project
-
Looks dope to me. Anyway I guess I can be glad that it's not a Tidal/Apple music exclusive

If you haven't noticed, no De La songs are streaming........ sample clearances must be done all over again for streaming and since they have a ton of samples, the label refuses to do it ..... which is ducked up ....
-
I get emails from then and heard a lot of the songs

They gave away their whole catelogue for free a couple years ago tho.
Gave free DLs thru their website -
I was listening while doing yard work the other day. Got up to Drawn but havent finished it off
There is like 3 tracks in the middle which are like rock n roll songs i was not feeling.
Greyhounds is my favorite ive heard so far. Reminds me of a mashup of "Millie Pulled a Pistol" & Slick Ricks "All Alone No One To Be With" -

Hey Friends,
We just released our short film that details the creation of our new album "and the Anonymous Nobody". It's called "We're Still Here (Now)...a documentary about nobody. It chronicle's the beginning of the Kickstarter announcement to the midway point, to the fine-tuning and perfecting the tracks that made it on the album. We're really proud of this film. Hope you enjoy.

I loved Grind Date too. I don't feel like that Album got the love it deserved. Awesome production , Good lyrics good flow and good songs. -
CRAZY ALBUM...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK OF THIS AFTER 1 LISTEN...
I WALKED IN EXPECTING SOMETHING LIKE GRIND DATE OR THE AOI ALBUMS...
BUT INSTEAD THEY DROPPED A CRAZY THROWBACK TO THEIR OLDER ALBUMS...
WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL HIP-HOP VIBES...ITS A DOPE WAY TO COMEBACK AFTER 12 YEARS...

ALL THIS MEANS IS THAT YOU MISSED OUT ON THE GRIND DATE....
WHICH IS AN ALBUM I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...

Is De La Soul the longest lasting rap group?
Is Public Enemy still around?
NWA broke up, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 broke up, Run DMC doesn't tour since JMJ passed.
Can anybody name a rap group thats been around longer than De La Soul?
