Yeah I'm a Lonzo guy.
I like Tatum more than a lot of people too. But I'm in the Ball camp -
Interested to see what the Lakers can get/are willing to accept for JC.
-
these cats aint watch fox, cuz he aint nothing but an athlete, his footwork is trash, jumper is beyond trash, court vision leaves alot to be desired. and his defense wont be relevant in this pick and roll league. You would think he was Pat beverly level of defense the way these cats talking
Fox should go no higher than 5th ...maybe even 6th in the draft
Tatum, Josh, Lonzo, Fultz >>>>>>>> and its not close -
Ball could very well be Ricky Rubio 2.0 all flash no sizzle
-
Lonzo is great off ball too tho. So that already would add a dimension that Rubio doesn't bring. Plus a way better athlete
I haven't really watched the bigs at the top of the draft but my big board of the guys I watched
Fultz
Ball
Tatum
Jackson
DSJ
Monk
Issac
Fox -
Rubio? Did I misread that Ball has nice touch from outside?
-
My knock on Ball he's plays no D Westbrook and them other guards gone ? him. You pair him with Russell they gone be getting took. His shot betta be nice to offset the lack of foot speed
-
Second chance points will be the reason the Cavs lose

Speed demon
Plus defender
Can put pressure on opposing guards because of speed and athleticism
Decent shot can get better.
2nd 1st round pick either
Draft a scorer you can bring off the bench
Draft a young Euro and stash him
Draft a young athletic rim protector
Yeah now that I had time to think on it I like Fox better
U guys are crazy. Did u guys really watch Fox? He can't shoot to save his life. For some reason, the game against UCLA is clouding everyone's judgement. I will take Ball, Jackson, Tatum, Monk over him.
TBH I don't watch college ball until MM so, ehh... if you say so. I can only go by what little I did see. I actually haven't even seen Fultz once. If it wasn't for his first name, I couldnt even truthfully tell you if he was even black. -
I'm also on that Johnathan Jeanne boat for our second 1st round pick if he's there 7'2 9'5 standing reach. Put him with Kareem and lookout

Doubt he falls to us at 28. Bam Adebayo is who i hope we get at 28. -
Lonzo or trade the pick for me.... I'm all in with BBB
-
Could Boston draft Ball at 1 knowing the Lakers want him and hold him hostage and see how bad the Lakers want him or worse case keep him and fit him in there system

Nah Lakers would just draft Fultz -
Pelinka and Magic would be jumping for Joy if Celtics took Ball
Lonzo is gonna be good, but Fultz is better -
Yup.
It came out last week Pelinka was recruiting Fultz hard for his agency prior to taking the GM job -

So, i have been reading and watching alot of videos on Lonzo Ball (Draft Express, BBallBreakdown, Laker Film room) lately. Looks like Ball is a solid off ball/help defender. Pretty decent one on one defender. Where he struggles is on his Pick and Roll defense, looks like he really sucks in that department. I feel that can be coached and he should be fine. Doubt he will be a Tony Allen type defender ever, but he has the physical tools to be an average to above average defender. -
At this point I just hope we get somebody that ? out from gate
-
I'm very lukewarm on Ball, the same way I was with Ingram. Are any of these prospects good enough to make any positive impact their 1st year?
-
Yall cool with D.Lo at SG?
-
It's gon be that or get traded, he don't have pg vision but he too talented to be comin off the bench still

Gotta knock golden State off their perch.
Pelinka and Magic got work to do. -
I just don't understand going after Josh Jackson if we going to bring in Paul George... Ingram, George, and Jackson all play the 3... either take Ball or trade for a big time vet like Paul
-
Paul George can play 2, 3, or 4 in this NBA tho. The real question is what Ingram will grow into.
