So I go to the "SportsBar" Taps at the casino this past Sunday, and these ? was in there watching bowling and pool. I had to complain to two different managers to get them to change the channel to football Smh

I was looking at reviews of the restaurants. The Asian restaurant in there has an entree that's $260. lol What the hell are they serving that one plate would cost that much?

you really thought they built that to appease the locals in the area that wanted a casino?.......most of the locals I talked to actually opposed the casino being built in the first place so if that's the case why build it right next to another tourist attraction that is the National Harbor?......that whole area over there is not being built up for us and correct me if im worng but PG county is predomintly black right?......yes locals will visit and give their money i'm not disputing that but to think that locals from PG county would be the main funding source behind the casino is ridiculous....tourist coming in will always outspend the locals which proves your point about ATC,WVA and DE casinos...we prolly out-spend the locals in those areas cuz the don't care about those casinos anymore..yet tourist ALWAYS COME BACK....and since most of the tourist coming to that area are mostly white...that's who they're targeting...and sure enough they will start gentrifying that area as well
they're doin the same ? over by Nat's stadium as well.....so all those new condo's they're rapidly building are for the local DC residents they're displacing? -

Hell yes. Help make the money back. Which would mean some of the money not all or even the majority. They would be foolish not to. Local people always gambling at the local casinos. Same as locals used to gamble in AC, and they still do in Vegas.
The ? is built for tourist and locals. The hotels are for the tourists. The restaurants, shows at the casino, shopping is for everybody.
Oh and for the record maybe they will maybe they won't fully gentrify the area. They sure didn't gentrify ? in AC. Off the strip in Vegas ? ain't all that sweet either.

Yea i know what you saying. At the same time though nobody will open up a business somewhere and it be for tourists. My homie stay in Suitland and im sure they gonna b up there all the time. The immediate surrounding area is a major factor in the location of this casino -
