Pharma bro Shkreli — who drastically raised the cost of the life-saving drug Daraprim from $13.50 to $750 — announced on Periscope Friday that his latest purchase is the still-unreleased fifth studio album by rapper Lil Wayne.
Shkreli would not reveal how much he paid, noting “that’s between me and the seller.”
The "Hey Mr. Carter" artist was scheduled to debut the long-awaited album "Tha Carter V" in Oct. 2014, but was stalled by an ongoing legal battle with his former label Cash Money Records, which is headed by his ex-friend Birdman.
"To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it," Weezy wrote in 2014.
Back in September, Birdman claimed Lil Wayne had the master recording for the album. It was also reported that Wayne would never release it on the internet for free, sources told TMZ.
Shkreli then played an unheard Lil Wanye track during his Persicope recording and claimed it was from "Carter V," but viewers were skeptical.
"I dont know if I can believe martin shkreli bought the Carter 5. I mean of course he played an unheard weezy song but don't mean its carter5," one user wrote.
Shkreli previously made headlines for purchasing Wu-Tang's "Once upon a Time in Shaolin" for $2 million around this time last year.
A rep for Lil Wayne did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.

U haven't heard of those other artist cuz it was before the whole "raise the prices on drugs" ? he pulled if it wasn't for that folks wouldn't know who he was or care that he bought wu-tang album. He'd just be another "rich privileged white boy" to us. Crazy thing is Ghostface wouldn't even have said anything bad abt dude if it wasn't for that drug ? .
