I think this was the best season 1 of all the Marvel Netflix series. The pacing was perfect and the action was abundant.
I have a few coworkers who said Frank cared too much about people but the comics I read he wasn't a misanthrope. He didn't take it easy on what is perceived as bad people though. -
Frank is often mischaracterized as a blank killing machine. But ask anyone whose read his comics, he often makes acquaintences and befriends kids.
He's Mad Max without the apocalyptic backdrop. He comes in, helps out and leaves.
Only when in books with solid good guys (like Spidey or Daredevil) is his positioned as a ? who seemingly murderers criminals indiscriminately. -
I heard this was ultra violent. I can't be watching heads getting blown off and ?

Lmao i know right? I'm not knocking the show but I'm 8episodes in and franks interaction with micros family really dulls the pace. Of feels like I'm watching an action hero version of Charles in charge. -

Thats the main reason, also because it seemed like Curtis had the fight in hand a few times and could have ended it if he wanted to be more violent.
If the kid would have just stopped with killing O'Conner I would have been cool with him but he turned into a little ? . -
I think it was funny how this show kinda ? on anti-gun, intentionally or not LOL

The kid reminds me of Dylan Roof and white privilege personified.I only hate that he got the luxury of killing himself instead of someone putting some hot ones in his noggin at point blank range.

I finished it. Thought it was good over all but the amount Frank got ? up in every single engagement got to be a little ridiculous.
I dig it overall tho.
And Curtis was the realest G on the show. -

Frank is supposed to get ? up, just like Hellboy in that sense. -
I never followed the comics and I know it’s a Marvel show so it’s not supposed to be totally real but it kinda got to be a little repetitive.
Fun watch tho, I liked it. -
