Not sure if most have heard but ESPN just fired/laid off 100 employees mainly due to the cutting of the cord. Gotta think if Disney if letting people go like that surely other big cable companies are taken a mean hit. With the Netflix's, Hulu's and the almighty Fire Stick/Kodi Gang taking over the world what do you think these cable companies are gonna do next?

my bad...you wanted a serious answer

but they are gonna have to do the a la carte option for cable..no sense in paying for channels you dont watch

hell ? did a thing where if you get the middle internet package, they automatically include the lowest cable option they offer. I told them i didnt want NO cable whatsoever and they were like, if you want this speed, you have to get it

they know they have customers by the ? so they can get away with stuff like that

you might not need cable, but you do need internet. AINT no circumventing that ?

    They'll make their money somehow.

They're still the internet provider most of the time. So if the internet is replacing cable, either they'll try to raise the price of internet, or go after the ones providing the alternatives. They're already lobbying for laws to ? us over like the internet privacy repeal, net neutrality, dmca, etc.... so no doubt they'll be going the legal route.

They'll also no doubt try to call themselves "innovating" and come up with different services including streaming services, maybe even attempt to acquire some of those streaming companies.

In any event, ? em. Their prices were too high, and too many repeats and commercials.

My bad, I figured y'all had an Android TV.

My TV already got Google play store so you can basically download any app that u can on your phone. Including Kodi.

But you prolly don't have an Android TV so your best option is buying a firestick.

I agree with you also cable companies started feeling like the banks that they were "too big to fail" Once people really caught on to all the options it really started ? their money.

Netflix and other stuff like them really ? them up as well.

They're going to adjust with the times or die, just like all these retailers closing their brick and mortar locations.

Increasing the price of internet is what they'll be doing in the future. Or possibly having internet set up similarly to phone data where you pay more if you go over a certain amount of data. Just watch.

A la carte or packages that offer X amount of networks for set prices...you choose which networks you want in your package - 10 channels for $50, 20 for $60 and so on....
