unfortunately this song flew a bit under the radar because of Ether....BUT this ? was even better imo from the concept to the execution that ? was perfect....SMH Nasir was on a roll he had 2 of the baddest diss songs on that Stillmatic album

That "smoke" song -
"U da man" had shots at jigga and rocafella on some grown man ? ...as someone stated...nas approach to his beefs on this album was intriguing. He made you feel bad for his competition, as if nas actually cared about the downfall he was about to cause them or they had causes to themselves

You're right, Prodigy was the real loser. Took L's from both Jigga and Nas -

When I had Stillmatic CD.....the fast forward button stayed getting pressed as soon as I heard:
Ay yo Jungle... ay yo Wiz...
Come on man... Let's do this

My mother bought me the album as soon as it came out for Christmas, so my copy had braveheart party, with the 3 bonus tracks
-
I didn't like the fact Nas kicked Prodigy when he was already down and out. At least my ? P didn't wait half a year to diss to 2pac and approach Jay Z and in person. And besides Nas guilty of doing everything he accused P of with more than a few rappers. Musically it's a classic track but from day 1 I felt the message is very hypocritical throughout the song.

My favorite song on there was Rewind!
