Curren$y Announces Smokee Robinson 2

Curren$y and Don Cannon have been cooking up in the studio, and are apparently almost ready to feed the masses. The Hot Spitta recently revealed he will be putting out a tape with Cannon at the helm titled, Smokey Robinson 2: Smokey’s Revenge.

Curren$y let the cat out of the bag via Instagram, uploading picture of himself and Cannon in the lab. In the picture, Spitta’s eyes are closed. He fittingly captioned the photo, “I closed my eyes and realized that me and @doncannon had just created “smokey robinson 2″ we gonna call it #smokeysrevenge… Andretti and the,the,the,the cannon !!! @dexstr8dope.”

Giving more details in a follow-up post, he revealed the tape will have all new beats from the producer. “All original production…… #smokeysrevenge Andretti X @doncannon,” he wrote.

This isn’t the first time Curren$y and Cannon have linked. The original Smokee Robinson mixtape dropped in 2010 and was hosted by Cannon. Now, seven years later, the two are back at it.
