As basketball fans we should all be appalled at the nomination and eventually the enshrinement of Reggie Miller into the Basketball Hall of Fame. It is a travesty of epic proportion. However, it continues a pattern that the NBA has established of allowing good players into a room designated for only the flawless.
Hierarchy in sports is not just needed, it is necessary in saluting those who have accomplished the inconceivable, which is why Miller’s enshrinement is so disrespectful to those who are unparalleled.
Every player who played for a really really really long time and was efficient should not be nominated into the Hall of Fame, especially those players whose repertoire includes jumpshots and jumpshots only.

It's the Basketball Hall of Fame, not juat NBA
-
Miller is hof hands down
One of the several players who would've had a ring if it wasn't for jordan.. -
18/3/3/ per game.
5x all star
3x third team all nba.
A above average ? on a team full of average ? . Was he clutch? Yes. Was he ever the best or even second best at his position? No.
That ? should be 4th of 5th team hall of fame. -
One of the greatest shooters ever.
And she straight ? on my Knicks -
Stop hatin', Bruh. Reggie is a bona-fide HOF Player. First ballot
-
Yao Ming in the hall

LIES!!!
Pacers missed the playoffs Reggie's first two seasons. Then from '89-90 to '97-98 Reggie lost 5 times in the first round. (Pistons once, Celtics twice, Knicks once & hawks once) He only played the Bulls in the playoffs in Jordan's last year with the Bulls. While MJ was out riding buses in the minor leagues Reggie was losing to the Knicks and Magic. Jordan didn't hold Reggie back, he just wasn't good enough.
Paul George has the same amount of All NBA selections as Reggie. George 7 seasons played. Reggie 18 seasons played.

Lol wtf..
Says "lies"
Then says "only played bulls once"
So maybe thats the year im talking about? -
Miller is a HOF
He had HOF Moments countless ones. That was his greatness..
There are levels to it though he aint in the penthouse but he is in the Hall
Hell ithink Robert Horry should be in the HOF for being an integral piece on every championship team he was on.. and he was a hell of a player one of the OG stretch 4's who was 3 and D -
Lol wtf..

You made it sound like MJ was stopping on a regular basis. Even if the beat the Bulls that year, The Jazz would of beat the Pacers imo. Why didn't Reggie get one when MJ was retired? -

I'm not sayin Reggie is not a HOF player . I'm just saying if they had a 4th team or 5th team Reggie belongs on one of those teams. Like you said he ain't in the penthouse. That is the problem with the Hall. They are turning that penthouse into section 8 housing. -

Thats the way YOU interrupted what i said.
that year in 98 the pacers forced Chicago to a game 7 in the ECF. The only game 7 of the 2nd 3peat -
Is what it is. Hall of Fame standards are low. Hence the reason that ? ass Dwight Howard will be enshrined one day

close / lock this joint -
He retired as the greatest shooter of all/his time, that takes him from "4th-5th team" to at least 2nd imo

Lmao @ "interrupted" -
He's a hall of famer. There are worse players in the hall.

Like someone already stated it's not just NBA we're talking about here it's the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame so it encompasses everything not just his time in the NBA. And when you go back to his time at UCLA not only is his number retired there but he's 4th all-time in points scored.

If Chris Mullin and Ralph Sampson are in the Hall of Fame, I have no issue with Reggie Miller being in. At Miller has a few signature performances to point to. Based on who's already in, I'm surprised Mark Aguirre hasn't made it..

Is Nique even in the HOF yet?
