Can't WAIT to watch james harden guard pg in a series(if they face each other) or will ariza do that?

Who gonna guard melo? ryan anderson?!? :#

    Pj tucker

Tucker 6'5 and won't start and if he closes games he'll still be at an disadvantage cuz he'll have to guard a player 3-4 inches taller

He's been guarding 3s and 4s his whole career and has done very well so I think he'll be okay....... his height is a disadvantage but hes never been a lock down defender anyway, hes someone who can knock you off your spot, get up in you/be pbysical and just be an annoyance which is what we need after losing Bev

Not saying were going to be shutting people down by any means but you'd be hard pressed to find a better group of wing defenders than Tucker, Ariza and Mbah A Moute

You a homer rather hear non biased opinions

moute will be a liability on offense teams will leave him wide open like they do roberson(will ? up spacing too).Tucker and moute net negatives on offense. If they aren't shutting down who they guard their contributions on defense won't really change nothin. With paul being the rockets primary defender of pg's now their margin for error is slim

How is that a homer opinion? Are Mbah A Moute, Ariza and PJ Tucker not one of the better group of wing defenders in the league?

Mbah A Moute shot 41.5% and PJ Tucker shot 45.5% on corner 3s last year too by the way which is where they'll be spotting up from in Houston

"The best stretch 4 in the league" is gonna get more mins than moute and tucker which was my point

I personally don't see how rockets stopping melo,pg and russ in a 48 min game

Btw tucker shot 1.7 corner 3's and moute 0.9 so two bench players who are 6 ppg scorers that shot 40+ % from corner 3's is supposed to mean somethin when we're talking about defending 2 wings and russ who led the nba in scoring last year

Okc has roberson who is the best defender of harden in the nba at their disposal too.

Rockets could barely handle the thunder in the playoffs with russ and bums

Ariza and Anderson are going to start, but that's still plenty of minutes at the 3 and 4 for Tucker and Mbah A Moute if necessary....Anderson wont even close games depending on the situation.

Gordon(Very underrated defender), Harden, Chris Paul will defend Westbrook

Ariza, Mbah A Moute and Tucker will defend PG and Melo

We're more equppied to defend them than majority of the teams in the league but we'll see what happens when the games start being played

Lol @ The Rockets barely handling OKC when we won 4-1

Okc led the rockets when russ was on the floor
When Westbrook was on the floor (for 39 minutes per game), the Thunder outscored Houston by 4.9 points per 100 possessions. When Westbrook wasn’t on the court, Oklahoma City was even worse than you probably thought. The Thunder were outscored by 51.3 points per 100 possessions while Westbrook watched from the benchIn real terms, when Westbrook sat this series, the Thunder were outscored 137-79 in 45.5 minutes of total court time. They lost by 58 points without Westbrook playing. For the entire series, Houston only outscored Oklahoma City by 43 points.

the rockets bench was+ 79 for the series they went on a 27-8 run as soon as russ sat and lost a double digit lead. That was literally the difference

every game besides game 1 thunder led in the 4th which is why the rockets resorted to hack a roberson & russ went full ? trying to go 1 on 5 lol @ you acting like the rockets weren't struggling wit the thunder when russ was on the floor.

    We'll agree to disagree

Part of being a better team in that series was having a superior bench, don't know why that's a bad thing

The starting 5 for Houston and OKC was pretty even and then we blew them out it when it was our bench vs their bench....seems pretty simple to me

But yeah we'll agree to disagree and we can revisit this later in the season

not only that its basically only a photo shoot. You cant actually talk to the president about stuff there since they control anything you can ask them and I bet w/Trump it would just be more scripted nonsense. Certain people cannot be reasoned with.

76ers going to be a top 5 seed if they don't have injuries willing to go to to top 3

    @Tommy bilfiger

You are the CS contract guru so maybe you can answer this. Does Carmelo still keep his NTC with OKC after waiving it with NY? Or once a player waives it with one team it is waived for all teams moving forward. Not sure how that works.

okc played the spurs tough with goatbrook + bums!! last year

SA weakness always has been athleticism.

think spurs take a step back this year and get 3 or 4 seed.

meanwhile , cp3 left blake and DJ for Harden with these new NO flop rules ....yikes

OKC best lineup to matchup with GS death lineup should be--

    Russ
    Roberson
    George
    Melo
    Grant

Yeah, they will try and hide Steph on Roberson but it would be easy to force switches and get him on Russ, Melo, or George. Roberson will be the weak spot obviously, and Grant is athletic enough to be an easy dunk threat out of the pick and roll.

Funny how OKC is actually trying to have a championship team now that KD is gone. This will be an interesting season none the less.

This some 2k logic. ? my guy grant? You really going put 2 ? that can't score on a highschool level on the floor against golden state? Stevrn Adams will be 10x more effective than current Grant at pick n rolls

? is almost as bad as Roberson he just got heart and will altest attack the rim
