1996 is know for many classic albums. But it is also known as a year where a lot of rappers were beefing. I pick six artists with 6 classics the came out in 96 that were beefing with each other.
1. 2Pac. Album Makaveli Dissed with Nas, Jay-z, Mob Deep, Biggie, Faith, Lil Kim, Jr Mafia, Bad Boy, Puff and others.
2. Nas Album It was written. Threw shots at Biggie. Was beefing with Pac.
3. Mobb Deep. Album Hell on Earth .Dissed 2pac and The Def Squad(Redman and Keith Murray)
4. Redman. Album Muddy waters. Took shots at Mobb deep and dissed Parish Smith.
5. Jay-z. Album Reasonable Doubt. Featured Biggie Smalls who took a shot at 2pac.
6. Lil Kim. Album ? . Original version of Big Momma had a diss to Tupac and Faith on it. And Biigie took a shot at Nas on the Stay that ? song.
All these are classic that dropped in this war that left 2Pac, Biggie and Kadafi dead and Suge Knight and Lil Cease shot. Prodigy and Big Noyd beat up. All these rappers were connected in some way.
Which was the best album and why.

Muddy WatersI love all these albums and it like 10 or more classics that was made in 96. I pick Redman because the production and lyricism was so high on this albums. Almost every song like a 10. He had creative concepts. 1996 had like 15 or more classic albums. Its June of 2017, and how many classics have we gotten?

Every album on this list bang like that. Like I said, I love the Makaveli album, but I'm not going to act like it blew everything else out the water. It was tough competition. People try to rewrite history in Hip-hop. Pac was a force but he was not considered the #1 best when he was alive. He wasn't the only hot ? out. The 90s was flooded with dope artists. So stop disrespecting the culture. You have the right to like Makaveli the best, but don't act like it was a 10 star album (which it was) and the other albums are 7stars.Built 4 cuban linx wrote: »power_wisdom wrote: »Built 4 cuban linx wrote: »Could've had the fugees, they dissed pac on that album

I guess you didn't read the "don't act like part." All the albums on the list are flawless or close to it. Like what you like, but saying "it ain't even close " when all those albums are like 5/5 mics is a stan ? riding statement.
We all have our own bias, but give credit where it's deserved. -
Makavelilol@ even comparing them albums to Pac at his height any damn way!!?
Lil Kim ? ?!
thats close??
Monb Deep a regional act!!? on the level of Pac??!
? dont even mention that album in the same breath..
Redman?? i ? wit Red..
love him with ? .. but no ? .. nowhere near Makaveli..
Nas?! get that ? album outta here..
Nas been livin off his first album for ? ever.. ? wasnt knockin Nas outside of NY like that..
and speakin of first Albums?!
Jay was a ? rookie and u tryin to compare him to Pac at that time?!
? was wack.. another regional album.
nah ? .. i aint tryin to change history.. but ur a revisionist..
none of them albums was ? wit Makaveli.. none of them ? was ? wit Pac..
the ? aint even close.. like i said.. -
Makaveli? u already addmitted/ agreed Pac was in rare form and u go tell me ? was close?? It was Written?? Reasonable Doubt who jus went platinum 3 yrs ago!!? lmmfao
go chamge yo ? ? .
