Story:

I walk into my favorite Mexican food restaurant an I'm waiting in line. A little ahead of me
was a lady, The grandma I guess, sitting on the side with her 5 grand Children, and the mother of all those kids.

All the kids had to be no more than 7 yrs old at the most.
One kid had to be about 4 or 5 was crying and the grandma was like... out of nowhere....

" SHUT THE F*CK UP!! HEY HEY..SHUT THE ? UP!!!. IF I SEE ONE MORE TEAR IMA WHOOP YO ASS, SO SHUT THE F*CK UP."


meanwhile every single person in this tiny Mexican food establishment was like

they finally grabbed their order and one of the kids was like.. " I wanna sit here!"
and the Grandma was like .... "YOU SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!... YOU"RE GONNA SIT WHERE I TELL YOU TO SIT!!!"

What y'all think.... child abuse? cause I imagine at home it has to be worse.

    never know tho....i know they could be getting it worse at home

    not child abuse but i never understood parents who talked to their kids like strangers they would fight in the street.

    we have to understand who they are and their background.

    she could have been having a bad day, or outta control herself and most will take it out on those the see as weaker or in control of.

    verbal abuse?......we can make a case for it....but when we say abuse, it has to mean the same across the board.

    i have heard white people be more verbally abusive to their wife and kids than any black person i ever heard.

    There's a way to chastise a child in public without being verbally abusive. Grandma needs some classes. Kids act out and when they get treated with little or no respect they project that ? onto others.

    There's house discipline and public discipline. Granny used house discipline

    Sometimes ? ain't the way you would do it, but it's not to the point of it being your business.

    The other day I'm driving past a day care in the parking lot. I see a white lady and her little girl (couldn't be older than 4) coming out of the day care so I stopped the car for them to walk across. The little girl ran, like little kids do, but she stopped herself before entering the street.

    Even though I had already stopped, and the little girl didn't enter the street - the fat white ? of a mom waited until the girl walked back to her and yanked her up by the arm to the point where it looked like it hurt the little girl's arm - all hyper-extended n' ? .

    I'm looking at this dumb ? like is all that necessary ? But that's her business. If she would've did any more of that, I might've decided to check her ass. In general, I mind my business tho.

    thats why they try to act up outside the house cuz they know you trynna look good.

    these kids dont know what to think....they just scared and confused...an dont want the attention...lol

    I imagine being told "SHUT THE F*CK UP" from time to time has to be little debilitating to the psyche... no?

    She was talking to them kids like some N*ggas on the corner she was ready to bang on.
    and she was loud as all hell to.

    She even called everyone out in the restaurant on some " I DONT GIVE A F*CK ABOUT ANYBODY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT... I WILL WHOOP THAT ASS IF I SEE ONE MORE TEAR!!!!"


    thats when all the grownups in the restaurant looked at the each other on some "Welp! sorry kids... y'all on ya own"

    I never use profanity. Words to a child can feel like a fist. You get them used to public humiliation to the point they think it's normal. Brainwash them to the point where 10 to 20 years later they will turn around and thank you for the privilege and make sure pass it on to their kids.

    this is not abuse. every black kid knows that when u are out in public u better not embarrass your peoples. mine didn't curse but her favorite threat...Boy I will beat the black off you! and if someone had anything to say she let them know she had no problems beating them too.

    Meh, I grew up in the 70's. Back then it was common to see Granny, Grandma, Grandmother, Ma-Maw, and Abuelita verbally chastise and whoop a kids ass in public and no one batted an eyelash.
