The lot is cast into the lap, but it's every decision is of the LORD.
? is sovereign so His plan and will prevails. But ? has also given us free will to make our own choices and live out the existence ? has given us.
So yes life is what you make it because of our own free will choices, and your life is also destined because ? knows the end from the beginning!
Oh the depth and the breadth of the wisdom of ? ! How unsearchable are His thoughts and His ways past finding out? -
“No fate but what we make.”

What you make itSome people lead, others have to follow.

What you make it"When you know what your goals are, suddenly you're not so tired."
-
"Only you can prevent forest fires."

life can't be what you make it if your life has limitations/privileges you have/had no control over

Fate by default, but some people can navigate out of it to varying degrees with their choices, hard work, and a little luck.
People born rich into wealthy families with connections tend to stay that way...they have to ? up pretty bad and absolutely destroy all relationships and parents relationships to climb down the ladder of "success".
People born poor with no connections have to work hard to even be accepted by and establish connections. Let alone climb up the ladder of "success". Any ? up can send them back towards square 1 a lot quicker. -
What you make it"i cant change THE world, but i can chanfe MINE!"

Lil bit of both, if you're born ? in a 3rd world country, most likely your life is dead @ square 1, but an able bodied person is in much better position to choose their destiny, withstanding extremely unfortunate circumstances in life.

What you make itI came up to success out of absolutely nothing, and it was all me and what I did and continue to do. Im not crediting my success with an ounce of fate, it was all me and my hard work.

Combination of both
