There’s A Scripted Malcolm X Series In The Works
The show will be based on a Pulitzer-Prize winning biography about the Civil Rights leader.
The life of civil rights activist Malcolm X will be the focus of an upcoming TV drama that’s currently in development.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, independent studio Critical Content has bought to rights to the Pulitzer-Prize winning biography Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention written by Manning Marable.
“Boardwalk Empire” writer David Matthews has been tapped to write the pilot script for the series, which is not yet tied to a network.
Marable’s book, published in 2011, is widely considered to be the ultimate record of the life of Malcolm X. Deadline reports that the drama series will draw heavily on previously unknown details revealed in the book about the outspoken black activist.
Spike Lee’s epic biopic “Malcolm X” starring Denzel Washington is perhaps the best known onscreen depiction of the activist’s life. Washington received a Best Actor Academy Award nomination for the film.

I read an excerpt of the book when it came out. It wasn't very convincing on the whole ? thing, Marable also suggested X was a male prostitute (that he was ? for pay). It wouldn't make a difference if he was.

Pretty ingenious if you think about it. They get to take shots at his character. Anyone who speaks out against this will probably have the ? mafia coming after them like "are you trying to say it would have been a bad thing for him to be ? ?"

They know how much he is revered in the black community, and his approach on how to deal with injustice was pretty much the antithesis of how Martin wanted to deal with it. Violence over peace.
That's the sole reason that this is being made right now. They know how much disdain the black community has for homosexuality, so they'll latch on to any perceived chinks in Malcolm's armor to weaken his message and further drive a wedge between those of us who are still conflicted about the way to deal with injustice.
The depravity and conniving with which these cave demons operate knows no bounds. -
People stay with they own agendas. I don't know if he was ? or not, but he obviously never came out if he was, and it's nobody else's right to "out" him living or dead. His contribution to LGBT initiatives were never a central part of his political agenda and of debatable significance in the overall scope of those people who have worked hard and publicly to further LGBT causes. Thats kinda predatory having a show like that.

The ? wasn't proven as a fact so truthfully it should've never been put in that book.
Open your eyes look at what the series is going to be based upon so called unknown details about Malcolm's life. Basically that ? is more than likely going to be about his criminal past and the unfounded allegations of homosexual ? .
That is a ? problem!!! If you don't see that as a problem you need to re-evaluate some things IMO! -

No one is claiming that his sexuality validates anything. It's not like people are out here questioning James Baldwin's influence and he was as ? as they come. -

In religion we have been told to NO SEEKING TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT PEOPLE because there are always skeletons and suspect/shady stuff especially in the sex area.
We have told to no DEEIFY MEN AND WOMEN. because they lie and sin. And thise who take that path will always be disapointed or stay blind, peacefully or violently, to some facts.
Those who respect Malcolm x for his FIGHT FOR BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA. Wont give a damn about that show.
Those, aka the FANATICS, who take him as a perfect human being,aka a ? , will be sad, feel insulted, even disapointed by Malcolm.
