not the best album of the decade tho.
DAMN>>>>>>>>FHD -
In all seriousness, compared to the 80s, 90s and 00s how has this decade been in comparison?
I know the 80s didn't really pick up until around 1987. That was when rap albums became more and more common.
The 90s was fire all the way through from 1990-1999
The 00s started off with a spark but I stopped paying attention in the ringtone era (circa 2006)
In comparison, how would you guys rate the 10s decade? -
Been a Cole fan since The Warm Up dropped and I ? with FHD but best of the decade hell nah

Underwhelming trash.
Rappers that would've been a flash in the pan in the early 00's are considered lyrical geniuses -
I think it's his best album but it's not album of the decade
-
4eva is a mighty long time>>>

Bruh, I ? love FHD... but ? YOSELF!!

10s have been better than the 00s but theyre not touching the 80s or 90s. 90s the GOAT decade. -
Love the album still listen to it but don't do that
-
I own Forrest Hills Drive,
and I know this is an unpopular opinion,
but I like “For your Eyes Only” better..
I can ply it all the way through with no skips.. -
I own FHD, Sideline Story, & Born Sinner
I didnt cop 4YEO becuz that ? sucked to me
I know this is an unpopular opinion but Sideline Story has the best selection of tracks followed 2nd by FHD.
People was just ? they put old songs on the album -

I agree. -
4YEO was trash. Like three good songs. I felt he forced that album

Changes
Neighbors
Vile mentality
Immortal
4yeo
Deja vu not bad but I already got used to hearing Bryson on that beat
The other songs is alternative...by alternative, ? straight singing lol but Cole did the best rapping of his career when he rapped
On topic, he didn't drop album of decade but I love it a lot, even more so than I did originally
It's his best album though. Cole hasn't dropped a bad album
His debut was good, we just heard half the music prior to it releasing -
ya'll should start locking these click bait threads on site
-
I WASN'T FEELIN THIS ? OUTSIDE OF 3 JOINTS.
-
Yea its a dope album but best of the decade??

I felt the same about Sideline Story
There's a couple tracks that aren't great, but I feel like it might be the best collection of songs he's had on an actual album, maybe not the best cohesive album -
Big Cole fan, but naw bruh. It's probably 3-4 songs i continue to listen.
I will say and continue to say J Cole's major problem will always be his production. It's very average. FHD is his best and most successful album because he reached out to other producers and gave his sound some diversity.
Everyone in his class picks better beats than him. Kendrick, Krit, Big Sean, Asap Rocky, etc. -
