oneWhy is this a question. I think the length is confusing people. If it was a piece of paper would you say the same thing...that it has 2 holes. I voted one hole but mathematically speaking I guess it's two. 2 objects cant occupy the same space at the same time with this reasoning using an x,y,z plane reference point z would be the difference so 2 is the correct answer.

This was my initial reasoning but some dictionaries define a hole.as an opening...going off that it's like okay...are we talking empty space or the access points.
