There are block bots now on twitter. Not only does it block the person but it blocks everyone who follows them as well. She could have used that, but its not like she was of sound mind anyway.
Also, she thought she could calm them down by adding that she was also LBGT but that wasn't enough.
I mean the irony of a bisexual woman being shamed into straight sex by ? men in astronomical.

It's at a point I avoid most people in social settings. I used to be one of the most outspoken people I knew. Today I'm a borderline mute.
I also have made it a rule to not really ? with anyone under 26 on a personal level. Even then I'm very careful with just how outspoken I am around 26 - 33 yr olds and even my fellow 34 yr olds and older. Have to adapt with the times.
I'm never looking to hurt feelings especially unintentionally. Don't like making people force themselves into defensive mode because they couldn't hack it in a convo. I'm too mellow for that and It's way too bonkers out there right now. -

Of course people have the freedome to express themselves. But the idea that that right also comes without consequences or reactions to said speech is something people don't seem to grasp. There's definitely a lot more thin skinned people nowadays than any other era that I could ever recall. Yeah. At the same time there are also a lot of people who lose track of the fact that there are a lot of thin skinned people around in this world today. So the mature option is to always thread lightly.
The minute she caught feelings they should've dropped it and moved on. Yet they kept egging on a mentally & emotionally vulnerable person and many of them knew it. There's an equal amount of selfishness and maliciousness in the world today to compliment the thin skins. It's sad all the way around. This is us in century 21.
A lot of social media is based on performance activism meaning people don't actually do ? but feel a retweet or hashtag or cussing somebody out on social media equates to actually doing something. Those are the people who tend to go the hardest with their comments.
Forgot to add that this is why social media has proven way more detrimental than beneficial to society's growth. Just way too much noise from people who generally misuse these platforms.

I feel what you're saying, but there is a such thing as risk reduction. It's a fact that ? is more prevalent amongst ? men. You're also right that there is basically a chain of partners that could link her to a ? man even if she doesn't have sex with one. That said, there are multiple degrees of separation between her and that guy that could allow for an infection to be discovered before she's endangered. No such buffer zone exists if she has sex directly with one. It's a risky profession, but that doesn't mean someone in it can't choose to take measures to mitigate that risk. -
