The activist judge who presided over the case immediately declared mistrial. Prosecutors say they will move to retry Blagojevich.
Let the man go, he was found guilty of only one charge. This is a political witch hunt.
Note: The other 23 charges were a hung jury, not acquital.

He will still end up serving a good chunk of years behind bars. The retrial will take place, it will likely result in 95% of charges being thrown out on a hung jury. 2 Months later he will be hit with tax evasion or some other charge that will put him away, when the system wants you they will figure out a way to get you.

He can already do as much as 5 years for the one conviction, which was for lying to the FBI about his LEGAL fundraising practices. -

5 years isn't big time to me though. He will likely do about 3 years then get out early on that conviction. The feds will try to put him away for at least 15. -

the prosecutor should've had the trial held elsewhere...but eh...
Don't you see Jay? The man did nothing wrong. It's a total witch hunt. If Obama had any courage he would step in and come to Rod's defense. -

oh, and the second Obama acknowledges that clown, the media's gonna try to suck him up in Chicago's corruption issues...? all dat...
I have a degree in poli sci and work in politics. Don't fall for the hype. Everyone knows these are bogus charges. Get a few drinks in anyone from the US attorneys office and they'll outright brag about how they framed blago
