Awesome arc reactor-powered console mod up for grabs on eBay
We've some pretty awesome console mods in our day, but an Iron Man-inspired Xbox 360 posted on eBay this week may be one of the most creative that we've encountered.
According to the listing, this beauty is the product of months of passionate nerd labor to create a Xbox 360 befitting of Tony Stark himself. The system features a fire engine red chassis with a metallic gold finished faceplate, and custom blue LED ring illumination. Most importantly, however, is that the right side panel has been modified and molded to resemble Iron Man's chest plate, complete with illuminated arc reactor. Upon initial startup, the reactor becomes illuminated and four cutouts surrounding it light up in unison with the standard indicator ring on the front. The hard drive even comes labeled with the Stark Industries logo.
The system comes with a matching red controller, 120GB hard drive, and of course a power cord and component cables.
As of the time this story was written, the current bid for the system was $1,075 with over 22 bids and over 5 days of bidding time left on the clock. The price is a bit steep for our tastes, but it's a cool mod all the same. Those with the spare cash and an undying love for Iron Man can learn more at the mod's official eBay listing.

Well, the PS3 isn't a customized model like the 360 - it's just a specially designed skin on one that was given to the winner of a FIFA tournament.
