Julious Javone Threatts really, really wanted to play football for the Town 'N Country Packers Pop Warner team in Tampa.

So, he changed his name to Chad Jordan and shaved seven years off his birthday so people would think he was really 14.
"He really acted like a kid," coach Ray McCloud said. "My son is 13, and my son was hanging out with him, and (Threatts) acted more immature than (my son)."
It's unclear how long Threatts pretended to be a teenager or why he did it.
Steve Levinson, president of the football league, said Threatts played ... last year, trained again during the spring and then joined the Tampa Bay league at the beginning of this season. [He] turned in all the necessary registration paperwork, including a copy of his birth certificate, which officials now realize must have been fake.
"He duped everyone," Levinson said. [St. Petersburg Times]

Oh, here's video of J.J. Threatts talking about ? . He's in jail now. It's his sixth arrest. His first came when he was really 14.

    Was this kid working?

I know he couldn't have lived on his own without a job.

    1. Did his parents/mom know was going on? Did she attend the games? Did she allow her son to pluck 14 year old cheerleaders and take them home willingly?

    2. If he did have a job, no one thought it was weird 14 year old J.J was working construction on the weekends and going to the bar after the game?

A couple days later, Threatts went to D. W. Webb Middle School on Hanley Road to register for classes,

McCloud said Threatts told the team that his parents had died in a car accident and he was being raised by an older brother. "It was like a movie," McCloud said.

The coach began to investigate, asking around to see if anyone knew who "Chad" really was.

Finally, he found someone who knew the truth. A friend from Threatt's neighborhood told McCloud that while Threatt's father died in a car accident in St. Petersburg last year, his mother was alive, McCloud said.

McCloud found Threatt's Facebook page, which lists his mother as Debra Miller. It also says Threatts graduated from Leto High School.

Threatts then went to the school social workers' office with a school resource deputy. During the investigation, Threatts' cell phone rang. One of the officials picked it up and asked who was on the line, according to an arrest affidavit. The caller said she was Threatt's mother, and authorities were finally able to piece together his identity

According to his arrest affidavit, Threatts is 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. He has one tattoo: "Julious" across his left forearm.

damn facebook and tattoo's with your government name on them will get you everytime

    smh...this is an epidemic.

Previously, in Collier County, Blandel Jean was removed from Immokalee High School in May 2006 after school officials discovered he was 30.

The fact that Jean was an athlete also affected Immokalee High School. Jean was a forward for the soccer team that won a pair of district titles in 2005 and 2006, and was a backup kicker for the 2005 football team.

As a result, the Florida High School Athletic Association imposed sanctions on Immokalee High School for the initial three over-age students who had played sports at the school since 2003. The Immokalee soccer team also had to forfeit two district championships.

The football team received one year of probation and was forced to relinquish its 2005 district championship.

Documents obtained by the Daily News also indicated two more athletes, 21-year-old Clotaire Joseph and 20-year-old Fredo Selbonne, also were over age when they played athletics.
